Drivers
Drivers for field trips are needed on an on-call basis from April until October, usually once a month. Drivers need to show current proof of car insurance and a valid driver’s license. Liability lies with the driver’s insurance.
Drivers with a truck are needed to help transport donated furniture to families in need. Many of our newest refugees need the donated furniture in order to set up their households. MORE often has furniture, but the newest families have no way to transport it. Drivers do not have to lift the furniture unless they want to. The families will provide the muscles!
Drivers with a truck and the ability to lift and carry are needed to periodically to transport the thrift shop excess donations that are left over from our Saturday distribution of clothing and household goods.

Building and Yard Maintenance
There are always numerous maintenance tasks at MORE, whether it’s a leaking sink, walls needing some paint, a broken mailbox, gutters to be cleaned, or leaves to be raked, MORE needs you! We feel like we’re asking a bit too much of our main handyman and would like to have a pool of volunteers who could share some of those responsibilities.
